1999 Dodge Neon sputtering

Hi I was driving my car yesterday and it started to run rough. It made a knock and then started spuaterring and loose power and then would drive again and did it again when I got close to home.I took it today and it did the same thing. Can anybody help. I'm a girl and no nothin about cars.

It sounds like you have a mis-fire on your hands. This basically means one or more cylinders are not firing properly on your vehicle.

I suggest you bring it to a mechanic asap, a mis-fire condition can ruin your emissions system very quickly. It may just need a tune-up or sensor.
