1998 Dodge Neon Timing

Had a timing belt break got new belt replaced new belt after re-timing the gears, got put back together and the car spits and sputters really bacd, shakes and wants to stall out stays running but idels really low and all for cylinders are firing

Did you do the valve timing correctly meaning no.1 piston on its compression stroke/TDC and cam and crank aligned properly before you slap the belt on.

You sure your engine is not an interference type. Also meaning the valves will touch the pistons when the T-belt breaks.

So what ur saying is my valves are junk and now the pistons probably are as well? Not sure if mine is the interface or not?
