I removed the throttle and the shifter bracket to clean off the rust and corrosion and when I lefted the throttle bracket off the shirter lever came up some out of the transmission and I need to know how to put back in place and reset it so the shifter and throttle work properly. Would you have a step by step and pictorial showing the inside of the trans so when I drop the trans pan and if needed the valve body Ill know exactly how and what to do or a link showing all this? Thank You AL

ADJUSTMENTS GEARSHIFT CROSSOVER CABLE 1. Remove floor shift handle. Remove shift console. Loosen adjustment screw on crossover cable at shifter. See Fig. 2 . Lock transaxle crossover lever in 3-4 neutral position using 1/4" drill bit. See Fig. 3 . 2. Align hole in crossover lever with hole in boss on transaxle case. Ensure shifter is in Neutral. Tighten adjustment screw to 70 INCH lbs. Remove drill bit and check transaxle shifting. CAUTION: Fasteners, screws and bolts originally used for air bag components, have special coatings and are specifically designed for air bag system. DO NOT replace with any substitutes. Anytime a new fastener is needed, replace with correct fasteners provided in service package or fasteners listed in parts book.
