I have checked the codes, it shows 42, this is fuel pump relay or auto shutdown circuit. But the car still runs. Starts every time. However I am getting bad gas mileage. Only about 200 miles to a tank? Are these problems related? And how could I fix it?

The engine light is off. But with chryslers you can flash the codes by turning the key on and off 3 times. When I did this it flashed 42.
