I was planning on getting a new radio so I decided to look at the back of my current stock radio to see what I needed. Right now I also have an aftermarket 6 disc CD changer which has its power spliced to the radio's power. When I looked behind my radio, the 2 wires came apart, so I tried to put them back together without thinking to unhook the battery terminal. Well, a spark occured and now my blower and dome light do not work at all. My radio works when the engine is on but if you open a door the radio dies, it resets each time it loses power, even if you just turn the car off. I just checked the fuses and my blower fuse was blown. I replaced it and tried out my blower only to have another fuse blow. I can't figure out what is wrong, there is also a wire with a built in fuse to it which I think it is for the radio or the cd changer, im not sure, I found it in the fuse pannel on the side of the dash. It is not connected to anything in the fuse pannel. I just can't seem to find the problem, I know its not the battery, not the altenator, I need some help.

Let go back to the original two wires that caused your issue
disconnect them and check if you had connected them to the wrong terminal
or if it was crossed over
check fuses after that

that inline fuse usually related to an after market radio
