replacing transmission fluid cooler

DODGE INTREPID

i have a '99 Dodge Intrepid with 130k miles, 3.2L engine. there is a small hole in the automatic transmission fluid cooler (that runs in front of the radiator). Parts houses sell a 'generic' type cooler for $30 - - $80. the Dodge part is $192. 1) Is there any issue with using the generic replacement on this?

2) to decide which generic part to use, the parts system asks "with super cool" or "without super cool". What does that mean? It also gives a choice of heavy duty, medium duty, and light duty - which would i want for this car?

I would think the difference will be the way the fluid is pushed through the cooler. One will have just a tube that runs back and forth, the other is probably more like a radiator in that it pushes the fluid through small passages causing it to be cooled better.I would go with as close to the stock one size wise but the best cooling ability
