i have a '99 Dodge Intrepid with 130k miles, 3.2L engine. there is a small hole in the automatic transmission fluid cooler (that runs in front of the radiator). Parts houses sell a 'generic' type cooler for $30 - - $80. the Dodge part is $192. 1) Is there any issue with using the generic replacement on this?
2) to decide which generic part to use, the parts system asks "with super cool" or "without super cool". What does that mean? It also gives a choice of heavy duty, medium duty, and light duty - which would i want for this car?
