I recently have been experiencing a loss of power and a steady check engine light associated with error codes po700 and p1835. My question is. Now that I know the codes what do I do to fix the car? What needs replacing? It has been a great car and I would enjoy keeping it another year or two. The dealerships in my area haven't been to forth coming with help or advice so any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Both codes indicate transmission control system malfunction and range problem. I would ask around maybe a friend that has had some tranny work done go there have it checked out. This is more likely a sensor failure on shifting that you maynot even be aware off. But your computer is, so it needs to seen by a pro. In this area.
Hope this helps
