My car was recently in a accident in which I was hit on the front passenger side. The immediate damage was determined to be strickly in that location. The car was repaired and when I got it back I started having problems in which the radio and interior lights would just go out once a bump was hit. Had the radio checked thinking that was the cause of the problem and it was determined not to be. This morning the interior lights began to flash and then the car just shut off completely. Please help me in determining what the source of this problem could be.

Hi:
As far as the interior problems, it's hard to tell. If I had to guess, I would say the body control module (BCM) may have been damaged or a wire may have been knocked loose as a result of the accident. Maybe a ground wire is the problem.

As far as the no start, you need to check for both spark and fuel pressure to the engine. It the car won't start, one of the two will most likely be missing. Let me know what you find, and I'll be able to walk you through the next checks.
