My 2000 Intrepid R/T 3.5 with 189,000 miles sparactically stalls while slowing down (coasting, RPMs less than 700, no throtle presure). Instead of stopping at ide it just continues to lose RPMs till it stalls, (not all the time it does that sometimes it work fine). I've taken it to the 3 mechanic and there is 1 error codes, it is not a P code its=(00253) and they checked the electrical and fuel systems and found no problems.I still change the cam and crank sensor and ECM relay. When it stalls, there are no warning lights active on the dash, the only way I know its off the oil light will come on when its off, so then I slap it in nuteral and crank it up, and then in drive again and then i'm off. Now I do 100 miles a day I really dont want to get stuck so please can u HELP?

Not finding the code, though I do see other people and techs asking about it, no one has the answer yet. Chrysler mystery! P0253 is a diesel fuel system code. But if the car dies on coast, try cleang the throttle body with TBI cleaner NOT carb spray! If no luck, install a known good IAC(idle air control).
