My car alarm has been going off after the car has been parked and locked. The car has not been tampered with and I have checked all the doors, hood, and trunk to make sure they are secure. Is there anything I can check myself or is there a way to disable the factory alarm?

take neg off both bolts and reconnect,make sure door is close on car. put key in door and unlock. that should work. cynthia
