My timing belt guides broke, would it be feasible to repair it or just junk it. Body and interior is in great shape. If I replace it do I need to pull the motor.

When you we first started it up, it did not make a noise for the first 5 min. Then it started to knock and we instantly shut it off.

Oil is Castrol Synth, no on the oil light. No you have to crank longer then normal but not too too hard.
