I dont know whats wrong with my car. I think it runs beautiful< when it runs. The first problem with my car is that it shuts off every once in a while when it sits to long and its running. For example, when I am sitting at a red light to long it shuts off. Another problem is that it doesnt start if it has been started to many times. For example. When I do running around and I keep turning off my car all the sudden it wont want to turn back on unless we let it sit for a while. Please help me idk what the problem is.

i used my computer and it said loss of cam or crank so I changed spark plugs and changed the o2 sensors. I also changed teh cam sensor. Could it possably be the oil pump? Because it only shuts off when its turned on to much. I also changed the oil sensor. So I have a feeling it either that or one of the other sensors but its expensive to change the oil pump so I want to make sure first.

Hello, I'd have to do some of the basic tests. Check for codes, some of the national brand autostores will check codes for free. Can you check fuel pressure?

When the problem occurs, if it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs.

Hello, again, If you have a cam or crank sensor code, I'd check the circuits to both sensors. If you loose the rpm signal going down the road or idling, it dies. The rpm signal comes from the crank sensor. I'd still check the circuits for both sensors.
