While driving car, engine shuts off without warning!
Dealer suggests replacing fuel pump.
Replaced fuel pump, and throttle body sensor.
Still will not start.
There are so many sensors in this car, not sure where to go from here.

Thank you for your quick response, you have been helpful. I did replace the ASD relay with the fan relay(same part) the car runs short distance and shuts down. Not sure how to check the timing, any help with that would be great.
At this point, I'm thinking the ECM, but would like any input before spending a lot more money.
Thank you again.

Hello, made the suggested repairs, replaced ASD, replaced crank sensor. Car will start, but still shuts down. The last time it shut down, the internal lights flickered. ECM?

Replaced relays with new, switched them around, no change.
Car generally starts right up after shut down.
Some bucking and light flickering before shut down.
Code read P1684.
Thank you.

Battery power was disconnected PCM had a lose of power
I would try and clear codes
(by using a scanner and check for codes again)
if no codes take it for a run test and if and or when it stall on u,
check for codes
if the same code come back we may have power failure to the pcm and need to check connectors and wires check pins for any green in them sign of corrosion
