1997 Dodge Intrepid my car wont start

I have a 97 dodge intrpepid and it wont start. When I was driving it turn off my it self and little bit of smoke came out on the right side next to the motor. My mechanic can't find the problem. Where you put the spark plugs does not have power because I check it and I put a screwdriver to see if it sparks but nothing came out n the gas pump works!. I dont know is a electric problem? Plssssssss help

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it
