I have a 3.3 engine that I have replaced all the fuel injectosr and the egr valve my car idles around 3500 rpm and when I drive it will keep on speeding up and is very hard to stop and keep stopped. How would I trouble shoot why is it idling the way it is?

Unplug your IAC module and see if that tames the idle down if not keep it unplugged and give hte engine a few revs and a restart with it unplugged.

If not then its not the IAC module if it tames it then the IAC is probably bad.

If not the IAC then check your pcv valve if it is plugged the vehicle will idle high.
