Lately I have been having problems with our family car. It started with all the gages going dead, the air bag light being on, all inside dome lights not working, and power locks not working. But I went to the fuse box and started to check fuses none were burned out.
I pulled pulled the fuses responsible for the systems that were not working and when I replced the fuses everything worked again.

A week later the same thing happened. I thought maybe it was just an annoying lose fuse, but no. This time it was alot harder to get everything to work again.

Now 2 days later, after driving and hitting a few bumps in the road, the gages will not work and the air bag light is on, the wipers came on but will not shut off, I had to remove the fuse for them. Power locks work off and on.

The only systems not effected are power windows, the radio, the car runs fine, but I have no idea what could be wrong.

Is it possible there is something lose? Or a piece of hardware that ties all these systems together that needs to be replaced? I am really not looking forward to having the dealer have to tear apart the entire dash and look for an electrical problem and have it turn into a $1000 repair bill.

Thank you for any help you can provide

With out looking at the car I would look at the fuse box it self, try wiggling the fuses, if that dont work, try pulling the fuse out and putting it back in. If it seems to help its probably the fuse box itself.
