HOW DO I TROUBLE SHOOT TO FIND THE SOURCE

THATS CAUSING THE HEAD LIGHT DASH SWITCH TO OVER HEAT?

THE FEMALE SOCKET PART SHOWS SIGNS OF MELTING AROUND THE CONTACTS BUT HAS NOT TOTALY MELTED THE CONTACT CONECTORS "YET".

THERE SEEMS TO BE A POSSIBLE SHORT SOME WHERE IN THE WIRING HARNESS. OR A FAULTY PART?

I would think the switch itself is worn out. If there was a short, I would think it would blow a fuse.

Let me know if you have questions.
