Electrical problem
2004 Dodge Durango V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Engine continues to run 4 to 6 seconds after you yurn ignition off. If you disconnect 2 wire connector on alternator vehicle turns off normally. I tried a different alternator but did not fix problem.

The dash lights go out when key is turned off. It appears the ignition switch is turning off at least the accessories.

On fuse # 18 in IP fuse box put test light should light with running. Key off test light stay on for the 4-6 sec?
