THERE IS A "CHECK GAUGES" LIGHT ON. DOESN'T SAY "CHECK ENGINE" COULD THIS BE A FUSE?

If it's on and your gages read ok, then it may be a bad ground or relay. It usually goes on when you get low oil pressure, high coolant temp or maybe the alternator isn't charging.
