I have a dodge durango, first I noticed that the tires where rubbing on the frame because the tires wheir 265/75/16, so I replaced them with 235/70/16. Now the tires are no longer rubbing, but the is a rubbing noise or like a woop woop noise from time to time when turning right, I have replaced the rotors and brake pads in the past year. Could this be a cv joint going bad, or something else. The calipers have also been replaced.

The tires you put on are the same as what is listed on the sticker on the door jamb?

IS the sound a plastic kind of sound, metallic?

Look for clean areas on what may be rubbing on the wheel wells.

1st question- yes tires are a match to door sticker.
2nd I would say it closer to matallic, but it not a grinding noise, its more like something not in a sockets kind of wobbling around and then goes back into place. Mostly when turning right, and its very spotty. And yes thier was clean areas wheir the larger tires where rubbing on the frame

Look at the dust sheild behind the brake rotor. You may need to jack up the front end with the wheels turned fullly right, and spin it by hand to hopefully hear the noise.

While it is up push/pull the wheels with hands at opposite point on the tire to see if any play is present in the tie rods, ball joints or wheel bearings.
