2004 Dodge Dakota 4.7 mileage: 40.000 There is a very noticeable whine or hum coming from the rear end as you decelerate, foot off the gas. And also a loss of power, seems like the brakes are on.I had a new tire and a original on the back for about 10000 miles due to a flat. Someone told be I could damage my rear with this. So I just put new tires on all the way around. I fear I am too late.I have drivetrain warranty for another 30000 miles, The dealer said there is nothing wrong but I know my truck and something is getting worse with powerloss and rear noise. How can I make them fix this problem before my warranty expires and they charge me full price?

Sometimes it takes a couple of tries. With the engine nice and warm, crack open a bleeder slowly. Air or steam and that is what you want to get rid of. Air gets trapped here and there in the system but as it circulates the air starts to combine.
