2002 Dodge Dakota Radio

My question is that I cannot listen to the radio on the car, the cd player works jsut fine and its the factory cd player, neither fm or am stations come in. The speakers work fine I tried tracing the antenna wire but I cant see where it goes thanks

Hi:
When you turn the radio on, do you get static through the speakers or nothing at all? As far as the antenna wire, it goes from the radio toward the passanger side (Under the dash). It exits the interior and runs to the front right inner fender where it attaches to the antenna.

Also, on most of these radios there is a ground wire on the back of the radio. Make sure it's tight.

Hi:
I suggest removing the radio and checking both the antenna wire and the ground. They are easy to fix.

Let me know what you find.
