My truck overheated on me today and when I checked the coolant level was very low. I fille it up and it was fine. After it had been sitting for a while I noticed it dripping cooloant from directly undfer the radiator. The top hose comes from the engine to this metal cylinder on the side of the radiator right next to the over flow tank. It is at the bottom of this cylinder where it meets the radiator where it appears to be leaking. Any idea what this is?

The upper radiator hose goes from the thermostat to the radiator. If the leak is below the hose itself, then the radiator has a problem. The newer radiators have plastic tanks on the side. The core is aluminum and is crimped to the plastic tank. Many times they will leak there. Check that and let me know what you find.
