Stopped at store then would not start, I thought maybe timing belt slipped towed home next day started just like allways, 2 weeks later stopped just before turning ingnition off started running rough, turned it off when tried starting it again will run very rought pressing gas pedel no effect, was only running 4 to 500 rpm, then died, will restart but same effect, haven tried but think it will start and run after sitting and getting cold, thought fuel filter but auto parts store shows no filters to replace, so what do you think

Hi
Engine has gears so it could have jumped a couple teeth which would show up with check of manifold vacuum. Also check fuel pressure if runs good cold then pump is suspect. How old are plugs, wires Etc.
Let me know
