The air conditioning runs cold and will suddenly stop pushing out cold air. Then, just as suddenly, the cold air will return. This can happen while I'm driving or after the vehicle has been parked for awhile and started up again. I checked the compressor and it is running. I just had the compressor evacuated and recharged. That did not solve the probelem. What part in the air conditioning system could be malfunctioning?

Hi vinvis. Welcome to the forum. There have been a lot of problems caused by the H-valve on the firewall. When they stick, intermittent loss of cooling and evaporator freeze-up are the two common problems.
