1999 Dodge Dakota won't start

Engine Performance problem
1999 Dodge Dakota V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 141k miles

My engine began to overheat. Now it won't start at all. When I turn the key, nothing happens. The only thing happening is that there is a clicking noise coming from the glove compartment when I open the door.

Do any of the electrical components work? Are you sure the battery is good? If the only thing you get is a click when you open the door, it sounds like the battery is dead. THere are relays behind the dash that you are most likely hearing.
