Hello, I just bought a 1996 Dakota, it's awesome, but the blower won't work when you put it on any speed higher than the lowest. It will only work when it is on the lowest speed. I replaced the blower resistor plate and that didn't help. The airconditioner works fine and I have searched everywhere for possible answers.

Voltage to the blower motor goes hot, when you turn the key on. Hvac controls on/off, blower speeds on the blower motor ground circuit. I'd start by testing the ground circuits. Those different color wires, coming off the resistor, all grounds. May be a problem with hvac control assembly. You could use a jumper wire for redundant ground, see if the different speeds work?
