1995 Dodge Dakota Alot of coolant and noise

I was recently drive to work when my truck started to make a loud noise from the engine. Upon pulling over I notice a puddle of coolant on the ground and I couldn't see what was causing the noise on that it was coming from behind the engine on the passengers side.

Hi:
The only thing on the passanger side would be the hoses to the heater core. Was the noise from coolant getting on the belts, or did it sound like the water pump?
