1994 Dodge Dakota V8

my dodge dakota 5.2l v8 keeps going through fuel pumps. This is the 4th one in two months. They last one or two weeks and this time the repair shop put a delfy pump in and they said is is the top of the line. IT lasted tlll I got home and went to start it again and it is dead. Can anyone help or have any sugestions.

First clean the tank, change the filter, and check the pressure regulator for starters.

If problem still persists try a OEM pump from the dealership. Make sure it has the proper commutor bars.

If it doesnt, the pump will burn off so fast your head will spin.
