Engine Mechanical problem
1992 Dodge Dakota V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

We have a 1992 Dodge Dakota 5.2L and it will not start. We checked and made sure the dist. Was turning when cranking, it is good. We replaced crankshaft sensor, ignition coil and pick-up coil. We have good power and signal coming into the computer and going out. We have good signal to the ign. Coil but no spark. We are lost? Can you help?

Hello
Thanks for the donation

Your coil needs two things to work properly: power supply and a trigger (i.E.A hall effect switch or a camshaft position sensor). Without a trigger it will not spark at any plugs because its not being told to. Also ensure your engine is grounded properly to the body.

Thanks for using 2CarPros. Com!
