My dodge stop running when I was on the road. I change the timing chain, the gear under the dastributing cap, the crank shaft censor, electric coil and roter under the cap, spark plugs and wire. It sill wont star. Iam thinking that the motor is bad.

Hi:
Mine had 160K and still runs great, so if you maintained it, it should be fine. Are you getting spark to the plugs? Also, is the check engine light on? Finally, are you getting fuel? And when you removed the distributor, are you sure it was replaced correctly and the timing chain was correctly installed?

Here is a test. Turn the ignition key from off to the run position three consecutive times. On the third time, let it in the run position. Let me know if the check engine light flashes. If so, count the number of flashes between a short delay indicating it's moving to another number.

Let me know.

Joe
