I have a 91 dodge colt gl. It was seating for awhile and I have now got it started. When I first started it, it was putting out white smoke that smelled like oil. Then I fulled the gas tank up alittle to run it, but the smell is now that of gas. The engine sounds good, the miles are17,3226. So I would like to know what you think it might be before I have some one charging me alot for something small. Engine is 1.5l sohc mpi. Can you help

Nice white smoke coming out would be coolent leaking into cylinders. (Cracked head or just head gasket)
A grayish blue smoke would be oil getting into cylinders.( Worn piston rings, valve guides, or valves.)
What kind of gas smell are u getting? Raw gas smell. (Same smell like when your pumping gas at pump) or kinda gasy oil mixxed smell, which seems really common for that kind of miles with little work done to engine.

Let us know outs going on. Thnks jess s
