1993 Dodge Colt roters

Can I use a solid roter in sted of a vented one, I just had to replace my front brakes and notice my roter on the pasanger side was chewed up so I went and bought a roter not knowing if it was vented or not I just assumed it was solid so to make a long story short I am now late for work and the parts store is closed so would it be ok to use the solid rotor on one side and a vented one on the other
