Starting Problems

Hi, I have a 93 caravan 3.0 175000 mls that will not start. It seemed to start up fine until one day it just wouldnt. When I finally got it started I had to pump the pedal bout 15 times. Drove the vehicle for bout 20 minutes and shut it off. 5 minutes later tried to start it up and had no problems. Next morning would not start, turns over but no ignition it seems. Fuel Filter has been changed and Im guessing fuel pump will be next Any help would be much appreciated. Thank You in advance. Dan

You may be right, you should try a fuel pressure test, or to cheat a bit, next time you have the condition. Cycly the key on for 2 sec. Then off then back on for 2 sec. Then crank see if starts, effectivly you just built up fuel pressure. If it starts I would consider proper fuel pressyre test. Hope this helps, let me know how it works
