Engine noise

'89 Caravan, 190,000 mi. Have a knocking noise coming fm engine area after replacing timing belt. There was no noise prior to replacing the belt.

Might be out time. Or accidently moved cam shaft and crankshaft off from each other. If it gets just one tooth it will cause valves and pistons not being moving when the should.
