2008 Dodge Caravan Transmission Slipping?

Transmission problem
2008 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 7000 miles

I have a 2008 Sodge Grand Caravan - twice now, while driving approximately 50-60 mph, the RPM gauge jumps into the red zone and my van seems to drop into a really low gear and lose momentum - drastically. After I pull of to the side of the road, turn off and then restart, it acts normally.

I've taken it to the dealer and they were unable to find an "incident" reported on the computer. He advised me to be very cautious. But I'm worried about driving now, as this could potentially cause a wreck.

It sound like a computer problem
This is when I drive it to the dealer and ask for the manager and give him /her the keys +ask for a loaner too
let them have it and let them drive it if it take a week or two.
But then again that is me
