After driving a while the van will start to make a buzzing sound. Almost like a RF noice I once heard. Our dvd player recently broke. Not sure if that would cause it or not. Does it in all gears and only after its been driven for an extended period of time.

Does the noise sound like it's coming from the transmission?

It is possible. I had thought before it could be coming from there.

It does do it occasionaly when stopped as well but mostly after driven for a while. It sounds like an electrical type of buzzing but I have thought at times it was coming from the transmission

If the noise is there when you stop, I wonder if it could be one of the accessories such as a water pump, alternator. Try this. Remove the serp belt and start the engine to see if the sound is gone. NOTE: Only run the engine a few seconds with the belt off. It will overheat if you run it too long.

Let me know.
