I just bought a 2005 Dodge Caravan 1 week ago today. I took it to my regular mechanic to have it looked over and he came back with a list of things wrong. He listed the following: Has Oil Leak at Rear Cylinder Head Gasket. 2) Leaking Transmission fluid from the solenoid Pack on Transmission.

My Question is that the dealership gave me their own 30 day/1000 miles Limited Powertrain Warranty that lists it covers: Engine, Transmission, and Front/Rear Drive Axle Assembly. Would those items that I listed above be covered under the warranty they gave me?

I have only had this car 1 week.

Thanks.

At all the dealerships I worked for, the engine and transaxle were covered, that includes gaskets and seals, call them, its best to get it done at the same time, there may be a deductible of 100 dollars, so you should only pay once. Ok A used car has different types of warranties, I'm sure if these leaks are there, they should be included. Ok
