I am palnning to do transmission fluid exchange on my 2004 dodge grand caravan and would like to know if I have to put some gasket maker when installing the new transmission pan gasket.

Hello,

No you don't need any form-a-gasket. just push the bolts up through the pan and gasket. the gasket holes are snug enough to hold bolts.
