The other day we received a heavy rain and I had water under dash on the passenger side. The water poured out when I backed up. I have since check to see if it would happen again by placing a water hose on that side and it does. Water starts running out under the dash on the passenger side on the carpet. What could cause the leak. I had the windshield checked for leaks and there is no leaks. I father said it is running through the firewall but doesn't know how. Please help.

Remove the wipers and remove plastic cover and check if the fresh air way and seal
let me know

As you can see from the diagram below there are many places water can get in if the seal is bad, especially where it takes in fresh air at the base of the windshield

I have the same problem and have removed the plastic grill at the wipers. The only path that water could take is down the drain to the ground and it is not clogged. Where or how can water inside the firewall and down into the vent system, where water is draining down to the blower motor, which is not good, and to the floor.
