2003 Dodge Caravan obdII code P0601

Does this "check sum error" indicate that the computer is bad, or does it refer to a bad 'boot up' upon turning on the vehicle?

Try removing the negative battery cable for 10 mins see if the code goes away, post back if not.

:) Thanks for your quick response. I did clear the code with my scanner, but have not driven around; trying to chill some today since I worked Sat/Sun, Christmas eve and day.

Will let you know if the codes reset. It has not reset when just turning engine on couple of times.

One other code that was recorded is the 0135 code. I haven't looked but do you know if this vehicle has 1 or 2 sensors?
Engine-v6, automatic, with air.
