2002 Dodge Caravan error code P0601

Heater problem
2002 Dodge Caravan 68000 miles

My heater does not work. It stopped working and the check engine light came on with the error code shown above. Do I need to to take it to the dealer to get fixed or can I fix this myself?

The heater and P0601 are totally separate problems. P0601 means that there is something wrong with your PCM. A lot of times, re-flash works, but there have been instances that PCM replacement are required, in which re-flash is still necessary so the new PCM works with your vehicle.
