Steering problem
2003 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

moaning/vibration when turning left or right. Changed power steer return line hose and cooler. Still has vibration and moan.

Yes, during parking manouvres. Have installed lower power steer hose and cooler as required by company callback. Thanks for the reply.

Check the PS belt's condition and tightness. If it is good, chances are the pump itself is going bad.

Change the power steering reservoir. There is a filter built in to the bottom of the reservoir that can't be changed or cleaned (very well). Put on a new reservoir and whine should go away. I did it to our 2003 grand caravan and no more whining.
