We are trying to change the power steering fluid pump on a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan. We are trying to loosen the belt tensioner to get the old pump out, but nothing seems to be working. What is the proper way to loosen the belt tensioner?

Check the belt diagram under the hood and see if there is a tensioner if there is then its easyer if u use a belt tensioner tool wich looks like a long box end of a wrench and it gives u leverage to untension the pulley
