Electrical problem
2002 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have just changed the front drivers door on my van and foudn that the wiring harness in the door has 2 connectors for the power window switch panel but the panel itself only has room for 1. Can I get round this problem if not do you know what the difference between the 2 panels are. Please help its really frustrating me know, as I the switch panels I look at are the single connector type.

Hi gerty72,

Thank you for the donation.

The two are different, your original is the base model where only the windows are powered and there are no vent motors.

The one that you have installed is the highline whereby additional socket is for the rear vent motors.

You can either reuse the original wire harness or rewire the new door wires which would be more work.

Here are the schematics for both wiring circuits.
