I have a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan, 90,000 miles with a 3.3L engine. My blower motor would only work on High for a long time. After a while my motor started to make sounds like it too was failing. Finally the motor stopped working. Every now and again it would work but the fan always sounded bad. The AC works but the blower just stopped.

I replaced the blower motor resistor and that did not correct the problem. I have 13.5V to the blower motor but the moter will not operate. So I decided to replace the blower motor.

Per the Chiltons Manual - I've removed only one of the two screws that retain the air houseing to the lower intake housing. Does anyone know where the second one is and how to gain access. I'm assuming I have to tear out the entire passenger side dash board and it's somewhere behind the unit but perhaps I"m missing something.
