The a/c on my van only works when put on max power. In other words no air is being pushed out the vents unless the knob on the air control is turned to full blast. This is the case with the rear as well as front air vents. Once on it works fine but I can not lower the intensity. Problem has been occuring since I purchased the car off a personal vendor

Hello, if there is a problem with the lower speeds in your speed selection knob each speed lower than full high is run thru a resistor, located on top off the a/c-heater unit, this resistor is located behind the glove box, but if you set up a scan tool for body diagnostics, it may have a fault code to moniter this resistor, you could use a scanner to operate this, or take a look at the resistor to see if there is anything visibly wrong with it. Both front and rear blower morors have seperate relays and a front module is in control, these are loocated in the power center on the left front of the engine compartment.
