2001 Dodge Caravan

I have a 2001 Dodge Caravan when I start the engine the left headlight comes on when I turn on the headlights the right ones comes on and the left one goes off. Any ideas I found the fuse box under the hood but did not see anything for the headlights. Also is there another fuse box inside the caravan?

Yes there is a fuse box under the dash, drivers side. Although I dont think that is the problem if both lights work at one time or another. Your van should have daytime running lights. If it was me, I would check for loose wires, turn lights on, move headlight wires around to see if anything happens-sparks/lights flicker/turn on off ect. If that's not it my best guess would be the headlight switch on the dash is faulty. Good luck
