How to replace the V-ribbed serpentine belt?

The belt tension is adjusted by an automatic belt tensionier. It has a pulley on it and the belt rides over it. To replace the belt, the tensionier, which rides on a piviot, needs turned on the direction to remove tension from the belt. Once that is done, the belt can be removed.
