2000 Dodge Caravan snapped water pump bolt in timing case c

2000 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

While removing a water pump on a 2000 Dodge
Caravan 3.3 Litre V6 upper Left bolt snaped off no bolt sticking out.
Last person to install a water pump must have cross theraded the bolt realy good.
Can this bolt be extracted without open heart surgery and having to remove the timing case cover.
If I Have to remove the case how much of the eingene do i have to take appart.
